Student Withdrawal Process
The steps in the withdrawal process are as follows:
1. A parent or guardian must physically come into the Counseling Department with a photo ID showing they are the parent or guardian in order to withdraw the student. The parent or guardian will then sign a withdrawal form from the Counseling secretary.
2. The student must return all books to the library or Counseling office and check out with each of his/her teachers, the cafeteria manager, and library. If any textbooks or library books are owed, the student will need to return the books or pay to replace them prior to withdrawing. Student records will not be sent if debts are owed.
3. Once the student has completed the withdrawal process, the parent or guardian will be given a copy of the withdrawal form. Records will be sent to the student's new school once a records request is received in the Counseling Office by that school (debts must be cleared before records are sent).
