These scholarships range in value from $5,000 to $22,000 each year. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. November 1, 2019 - Tennessee Promise Scholarship
Tennessee Promise offers two years of tuition-free community or technical college to recent graduates of Tennessee high schools. Students can apply between August 1 and November 1. To apply, visit www.tnpromise.gov
November 1, 2019 - Auburn University Scholarships
Students planning to apply for scholarships should have a complete admission application file by November 1. The minimum test score and high school GPA required for consideration must be reflected on the applicant record by December 1. Following receipt by Auburn University, it may take up to three days before test scores and GPAs are updated in AUSOM. Click here for details.
November 1, 2019 - UT Knoxville Scholarships
You must apply for admission by the November 1 deadline in order to be eligible to apply for competitive scholarships including the category called Chancellor’s Scholarships. Admitted students will receive an e-mail with the link to the scholarship application, which you need to complete by December 15. We strongly encourage you to apply for admission as early as possible.

November 15, 2019 - Covenant College Scholarships
Most of our institutional scholarships are awarded to students based solely on information we collect during the admissions process and no separate scholarship application is required.
There are several competitive scholarships, however, that do require separate applications. The deadline for each is November 15 of the year before you expect to enroll.
December 1 - Belmont University Merit-based Scholarships
December 1 is the priority application deadline for consideration for Belmont’s most competitive named and departmental scholarships. All components of the application for admission must be received by this date for the applicant to be deemed eligible for consideration.

December 1 - MTSU Honors College Buchanan Fellowship Scholarship
For students with an ACT score of 29 or above and a GPA of 3.5 or above, we offer the opportunity to apply for the Buchanan Fellowship. This is the highest scholarship given at MTSU and includes full tuition waiver (up to 16 hours) for four years, priority registration, a book allowance, and much more. December 1 - Middle Tennessee State University Scholarships
To be considered for a Freshman Guaranteed Scholarships, students must be a first-time incoming freshman who plans to enroll at MTSU in the Summer or Fall semester. Students must have ALL of the following on file with the Admissions Office by December 1 to be considered for a scholarship:

December 1 - University of Missouri George Brooks Scholarship
Students from ethnic groups that have been historically underrepresented (African-American, Hispanic and Native American) are eligible for this scholarship. Seniors with a minimum ACT composite of 25 are eligible to apply for this $7500 scholarship. For more information, click here.

December 1 - Vanderbilt University Merit Scholarships
Students interested in being considered for the Ingram, Cornelius Vanderbilt, and/or Chancellor's Scholarship must first apply for admission by submitting the Common Application, Coalition Application, QuestBridge Application, or the Universal College Application to Vanderbilt. Within two business days of submitting your application for admission to Vanderbilt, you should receive an email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions explaining how to create your online MyAppVU account. Under the Scholarship Application option in MyAppVU, you will be able to select the signature program(s) to which you wish to apply. December 15 - ETSU Honors Scholars Program & scholarship information

December 15 - The Scarlett Family Foundation Business Scholarship
This foundations mission is to provide support to Middle Tennessee students pursuing a business degree or STEM approved degree. Requirements include a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher GPA and demonstrated financial need. Students must be planning to enroll full-time and complete a four year degree. Scholarship amounts vary based upon financial need. The minimum amount will be $2,500 per academic year. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years. January 10, 2020 - The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship
The American Legion's National High School Oratorical Scholarship Program - "A Constitutional Speech Contest" aims to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States on the part of high school students. Scholarships totaling $6,000 will be awarded to students taking part in the state contest. The state winner will receive a $3,000 scholarship, plus an all expenses paid trip to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the national contest, April 17-19, 2020 and a part of the $138,000 national scholarship pool. February 1 - University of Memphis Emerging Leaders & First Scholars
These scholarships require separate applications and have a February 1st deadline. The $5500 per year Emerging Leaders scholarship is awarded to a limited number of students with demonstrated leadership backgrounds and interest in leadership development programs. The $5000 per year First Scholars scholarship is awarded to a limited number of first-generation college students whose parents have no education beyond two years of college.

February 1, 2020 - Michelle Merrit Scholarship Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
This $500 scholarship is available to qualifying high school female seniors (3.0 GPA or higher) enrolled in a Clarksville-Montgomery County School. Click here for details and to apply.
February 14 - Ned McWherter Scholars Program
The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is intended to encourage academically superior Tennessee high school graduates to attend college in Tennessee. The award is $6000 per academic year, $3000 from the State of Tennessee and $3000 from the college or university attended and it is a renewable scholarship. To be eligible, the applicant must: have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT or 1280 on the SAT (math and critical reading only); have at least a 3.5 unweighted cumulative grade point average, and be a resident of Tennessee, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and attend an eligible Tennessee college or university full time. February 14, 2020 - UT Chattanooga Westbrook Chemistry and Physics scholarships
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at UT Chattanooga are awarding Westbrook Scholarships of $14,000 to as many as seven entering freshmen majoring in Chemistry or Physics. For details, click here.
February 15 - DAR Scholarships
Daughters of the American Revolution award approximately $150,000 annually in scholarships. February 15 - University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mathematics Scholarships
The Mathematics Department at UT Chattanooga invites students to apply for the Dorothy Dean Shelton Mathematics Scholarship and for the Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship. The Mathematics Department awards these scholarships to incoming freshmen attending UTC who major in mathematics.
February 17 - Military Commanders' Scholarship Fund
The New York Chapter of the American Logistics Association (ALA) has established a scholarship program to assist children of select active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who plan to continue their education in college. $5000 Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice. February 19, 2020 - Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation (CEMC) Scholarship
Twelve graduating high school seniors (from CEMC five county service area) will be awarded $1000 academic scholarships. Seniors must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0, provide two references, and will need to submit a 300 word minimum essay. Applicants must plan to enroll at an accredited Tennessee college, university (Murray State & Western KY included) or trade school of their choice by Fall 2020. Click here for the application. February 21-22 Hendrix Scholarship Competition @ Bethel University
Bethel University is offering a Full Tuition with Room and Board scholarship to the first place winner of this competition. Runner-Up will receive full tuition scholarship. Renewable scholarship for up to $5000 per year for an African American, Hispanic, or Native American Student majoring in Chemistry or a related field (not Premed or Pharmacy). Applications are accepted beginning November 1. Click here for details and to apply.
March 1 - Charles Mills Memorial Scholarship for APSU (MCHS only)
The Charles Mills Memorial scholarship for $1,500 annually, $750 per semester, will be awarded to a MCHS student who will attend Austin Peay State University in Fall 2020. The scholarship is renewable for four years if the student maintains a cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher. Recipients must have an ACT score of 20 or higher. Seniors that are not ranked in the top 10 are encouraged to apply. Admitted seniors apply online by clicking on the "APPLY NOW" button and then looking for the "Charlie Mills Memorial Scholarship."
March 1, 2019 - Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority (Not updated yet)
One $500 scholarship is available to students attending a public or private high school within the service areas of Clarksville-Montgomery County. March 2, 2020 - Mike Groves Memorial Scholarship
Mike Groves was a member of the Clarksville Association of Realtors from 1991 until his passing in 2015. For 2019, multiple scholarships will be offered to Montgomery County or Stewart County graduates that will attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university. March 6, 2020 - Carly Ford Medical Services Scholarship (MCHS only)

March 6, 2020 - Wade Morgan Memorial Scholarship (MCHS)
Five $1000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating MCHS seniors. Wade Morgan was a 2002 MCHS graduate. He was named Mr. Central and always wore a smile and was always willing to be a helping hand. Wade passed away from a work related accident on March 3, 2015. Scholarships will be awarded to students who portray characteristics of Wade and who are actively involved in their church and/or community. March 9 - Landon Dunn Memorial MCHS Student Athlete Scholarship (MCHS Only)
Landon Dunn was a lifelong member of the Montgomery Central community and a 1958 alum that passed away in 2013. His passion for both education and athletics will be honored annually with a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a MCHS student athlete. April 13, 2020 - Mickey Fisher Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for $20,000 (five thousand per year) is for a student that will attend APSU. The Mickey Fisher Memorial Scholarship Board will award one scholarship per school year to a graduating high school senior. Applicants must be students of Fort Campbell High School and other surrounding high schools who are children of Fort Campbell soldiers who are serving or have served our country on the battlefield. Selection will be based on academic achievement and extracurricular and community involvement, not financial need.
The scholarship is renewable if a 3.0 is maintained and the student maintains full-time enrollment status.

January 10, 2020 - The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship
The American Legion's National High School Oratorical Scholarship Program - "A Constitutional Speech Contest" aims to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States on the part of high school students. Scholarships totaling $6,000 will be awarded to students taking part in the state contest. The state winner will receive a $3,000 scholarship, plus an all expenses paid trip to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the national contest, April 17-19, 2020 and a part of the $138,000 national scholarship pool. The Biology Department at MTSU has three $1500 scholarships available to first-semester freshman. Recipients must be graduating high school seniors, must declare Biology as their major and be entering MTSU for the Fall 2020 semester. Scholarships will be awarded based on the students' ACT scores, high-school GPA, and their responses on the attached application form. The Clarksville Running Club will be awarding one time $500 scholarships to Montgomery County seniors that will be attending a four year college/university in the fall semester after graduation. This memorial scholarship is looking for students that participated in at least one of the following running events: 800m, 1600 m, 3200m, Cross Country (5000 m course). April 13, 2020 - Mickey Fisher Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for $20,000 (five thousand per year) is for a student that will attend APSU. The Mickey Fisher Memorial Scholarship Board will award one scholarship per school year to a graduating high school senior. Applicants must be students of Fort Campbell High School and other surrounding high schools who are children of Fort Campbell soldiers who are serving or have served our country on the battlefield. Selection will be based on academic achievement and extracurricular and community involvement, not financial need.
The scholarship is renewable if a 3.0 is maintained and the student maintains full-time enrollment status.

The Queen City Lodge No. 761, Free and Accepted Masons of Tennessee are awarding a one-time $500 scholarship to a qualified high school senior that is a resident of Montgomery County. The Harden Howard Memorial Scholarship will award $1000 to a MCHS senior that is planning to major in agriculture or agriculture sciences. The scholarship was established to honor the life's work of Mr. Harris as both a farmer and as a 30 year agriculture teacher at Clarksville High School. May 1 - Shelby Kae Russell Scholarship
The Hilldale United Methodist Church of Clarksville is awarding a $1000 scholarship. This scholarship is actually targeted to those seniors who are currently NOT associated with a church. The Shelby Kae Russell Scholarship is funded by a permanent endowment that began in 2012 and is dedicated to the memory of sweet Shelby Kae Russell who exhibited goodness, courage, servitude, Godliness and spiritual maturity in the face of a cancer that eventually took her from us on October 2, 2012. Through Shelby's bubbly personality, her selfless caring and her Christian discipline, came happiness for others. The purpose of this endowed gift of $1000 in the Spring of 2017 is to remind, inspire and encourage sweet Shelby's characteristics and to recognize and reward the beneficiary with a cash gift to ease their path to college where the recipient can then encourage, inspire and service others in the same way. May 31, 2020 - Shelby Kae Russell Scholarship
Although this scholarship is being granted by a church, this scholarship is actually targeted to those seniors who are currently NOT currently associated with a church, although anyone can apply. The only church-style requirement is that we require applicants to have an active conversation with a pastor/youth director/other Christian group leader as evidenced by the application form. Students currently active or attending a church will not be kept from applying for this scholarship.The actual application needs to be submitted online at: https://hilldaleumc.breezechms.com/form/83384a40 no later than noon on May 31, 2020.
June 1 - Kids' Chance of Tennessee
The Kids’ Chance of Tennessee Scholarship Program awards scholarships to dependent children of a parent or guardian who has been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured as a result of a work-related accident that meets the criteria of the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Act and that has resulted in a substantial financial need. Scholarship recipients must also meet the following requirements:
- Must be a legal resident of the State of Tennessee
- A dependent of a parent or guardian who has suffered a serious or catastrophic injury and/or permanent disability, or was fatally injured as a result of a work-related accident
- Must be between the ages of 16 – 25 years old
- Must be able to demonstrate substantial financial need
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary school (university, technical college, etc.)
- Must demonstrate superior academic achievement and aptitude
